Darn. Got up in the morning and when I looked in the mirror I found a gash across my right cheek. -.- I thought it was because while rubbing my eyes my nails has scratched my face. But now when I looked closer, I found two! And there're another 2 smiliar gashes on my right thigh. That's like super weird, have I been having catfights in my sleep?! And my fingernails aren't long anyway. Now I look like some pirate, or maybe the victim. I'm Mrs Sparrow for at least a few days now!

I can't seem to focus these days. School isn't helping at all. Everyday I return home from school I'm just too shagged to start studying, and then I end up sleeping or coming online and doing really meaningless stuff like bloghopping and youtubing. URGH. Its the PRELIMS man, what am I doing?! I better START my engineeeee. Time to have self-declared holidays. Even during the week holiday we are not spared! Tues and Thurs we have to go back for Maths, like wth? There's no time to study.. and the two weeks of prelims are just so packed together, 2 papers a day and major papers and more papers the next day somemore! So Lydia.... you know why I can't join you guys for Sentosa though I really really wish to! :'( At least your prelim papers have 3-4 days in between!

Dying........... Ah all the subjects I'm doing now is driving me nuts. Heard Chem paper will not be easy... Oh well.

So I watch Hady to keep sane. HAHA. He rocks man! Legenda...

There was a man back in '95
Whose heart ran out of summers
But before he died, I asked him

Wait, what's the sense in life
Come over me, Come over me

He said,

Son why you got to sing that tune
Catch a Dylan song or some eclipse of the moon
Let an angel swing and make you swoon
Then you will see, you will see

Then he said,

Here's a riddle for you
Find the Answer
There's a reason for the world
You and I

Five For Fighting - The Riddle

:D A really lovely song. And how lovely it was the previous 2 days. I miss the beans already! Sigh, studying doesn't help.. Please let me peak at the right time.

Mai harm mai harm, mai harm mai harm mai harm
LOL. Mr Brown's recent podcast is hilarious. Go listen!

Anyway just finished the darn stats test. Just 7 questions is enough to make me shagged. It was more difficult than I expected, but I've done my best and no regrets. Next up, chemistry! (sigh!) I'm really nervous for Biology. I doubt I'll get an A for the A's, but nevertheless going to try! I must keep reminding myself: Do my best and leave the rest to God. This way, I go in and out with a peaceful mind. :) He'll bring me through. So everyone, let's work hard together yeah? To finish our prelims and Alevels with no regrets!

Oh yeah, my mother's already retired to a full-time housewife. I'm so happy to come home with my mother around.. :D At least its not that quiet and soulless as before. And she'll cook me all these delicious food. I bet I'm going to become another Kim Sang Soon. Anyway I love that show! Its darn funny.. another good show to get addicted to.

Okay, off to listen to Muse and rest before embarking on those Chemistry topics for test this Saturday. Urgh why must it be on a Saturdayyyy... -whines.

Time to turn into a full-fledged NERD.

Link it to the world
Link it to yourself
Stretch it like a birth squeeze
The love for what you hide
The bitterness inside
Is growing like the new born
When you've seen, seen
Too much, too young, young
Soulless is everywhere

Hopeless time to roam
The distance to your home
Fades away to nowhere
How much are you worth
You can't come down to earth
You're swelling up, you're unstoppable

'cause you've seen, seen
Too much, too young, young
Soulless is everywhere

Muse - New Born

HOW CAN U NOT LOVE MUSE AFTER WATCHING THIS VIDEO?!

Muse has got to be the most underrated band. They play the most amazing guitar and piano, and their vocalist Matt Bellamy is so, so good. I don't know why so many people haven't heard of them. And its not like they're new; they existed since 1999! I love ALL of their songs. How come they don't come to Singapore?? :'(

Their new album is GREAT. Supermassive Black Hole and City of Delusion are my favourite tracks, and the rest are pretty good too like Exopolitics.

You set my soul alight
You set my soul alight

Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

Alright back to my GP essay. -_-||

Alright, enough of ramblings and time to get to the books. Yicks. There's so much to do and I'm still not in the mugging mood. Got to really starttttt.

YEEEEESSSHHH! Finally renovations of my room is DONE. No more sneezing and coughing in dust-clogged rooms, using up boxes and boxes of tissues, no more sticking tissues up my nose, YES! And I'm loving my new room now, though the bed's not moved in yet and my wardrobe has shrunk to make way for a bigger table. But the computer's now in my room so I'm happy, heh. And no more travelling all the way to Tampines library to study; I can study in my own room! But I have to practise more self-control because the computer's right in front of me. Hmm. I may post up pictures of my new room when I'm done. But now I dread moving all my books and stuff back into my room. Urgh, I have tons of stuff.

Anyway, I like the smell of my new room. And colour. Thank goodness. I don't think I can stand those pink walls any longer.

I love Life Is Good by Nathan Hartono. And he's only sixteen if I'm not wrong, and Singaporean too. Such a talent. But that's the problem. I can't find the lyrics of the song anywhere on Google!

And oh yeah, my brother's going Canada next January for some university attachment. For 6 months! LUCKY PIG! I'm visiting him there no matter what.

Alright, got to head to Ikea or IMM to get stuff for my room again..

Update:
LOL. This is the one of the funniest music videos I've ever watched. Good stuff. I wonder what would happen if one of them slipped towards the end of the video...

2nd Update:
Here you go, a picture of my lazy dog and a 'lil part of my room (aka. bed). The rest of my room remains a mystery, ha.

Zing zingy zang za-zang za-zang zingy

Short entry today. National Day holidays are over. :( Off to watch Project Runway! Can't wait to see their designs.. Muahah. And to see Chloe win!

:) Went to watch fireworks yesterday with Wendy and Lydia. We didn't go to the Esplanade, but instead watched them from Marina Square foodcourt. When we looked down Esplanade was super packed! The people really looked like tiny ants. The fireworks was alright, not fantastic; but the company made up for it! :D Had a great time chatting, catching up with the both of them, perhaps going McDonalds' later to have our long-awaited "prata" night.

Now I want to finish up my homework; but my family's tempting me to go out with them to Ikea and Park Mall to shop for our room stuff (lights etc.) Oh well, shall just take a break this National Day. And Lydia's prelims are starting on Monday! Omg. Jiayou, girl!

Btw, I'm addicted to Sexyback by Justin Timberlake. Hehh.

I don't quite know how to say how I feel
Those three words are said too much
They're not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lay with me
And just forget the world
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads
I need your grace to remind me
To find my own

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

My goodness. My house is in a total mess. We're renovating my brother's and my room, so that we can have a more condusive place to study in. However, to choose such a nice time to do this? All my clothes and my brother's clothes are sprawled over the living room couch, all our stuff; CDs, toys, books, all squeezed into my parents' room and living room, and we're going to have to share rooms after our beds are moved out. The dust in the house is so overwhelming it's clogging up my system, so much that I've been having a bad flu since friday. RAH. And my nose is still leaky now. And they still want to switch the air-con on with all the dust-clogged stuff inside the room. Great.

But digging up my stuff is like digging up memories after memories. I feel quite sad throwing many of those stuff away. Goodbye Barbie dolls with messy cut hair and holey clothings, goodbye Polly Pockets (I can't believe I used to play with such tiny stuff), goodbye O'level books.. However I found many treasures in my room! I uncovered many MANY letters/postcards from my dearest GB-mates, Clarissa, and my primary school contingent (super sweet stuff..), many Sec4 farewell and Valentine's Day gifts, numerous sticker booklets that I collected with Clarissa, birthday gifts from my classmates and friends (I still have the huge, fat PIYO-PIYO from Wenxiu and the rest..), and the big hand-made heart-shaped cardboard with touching notes from my 2A clique which they gave to me when I went on to 3A1 while they went on to 3A2.. Oh gosh, those memories are just so, so overwhelming. Looking back, I never thought I had forged so many friendships, and gone through so much during secondary and GB days. They are truly missed. I even found and looked through camp booklets that we've gone through; Sec1 training camp (yes I still have it!), the intimidating yet fun regional camps, staff sergeant training camp.. Man, the memories just keep flooding. Its through all these experiences that I've really grown. :)

I even found this drawing by a girl named Hazel. I met her while on a trip to Perth and we were in the same tour group. She drew two girls, one of her and the other of me; and I was so surprised when I found it! I think I was only pri4 and she was pri2 that time?!

Gosh I didn't know just emptying my room could unravel so much. -.- And I found this lovely musical jewellery box with a spinning ballerina. I love musical boxes! (hint hint) Heh. They always give me this nice, whimsical feeling.. :)

And oh yeah, I cut my hair today. Not much to comment about, but at least my fringe's not poking my eyes anymore.
